Purchased to be a family’s home away from home as well as an holiday rental, the brief for this project was to create a welcoming property by injecting warmth, personality and colour via furniture, art and small homewares selections that would meld in with the existing features, fittings and furnishings within the home. By adding a combination of colour and texture with new floor rugs, cushions, throws, art, furniture, as well as practical fixtures (mirrors, wall hooks, outdoor settings, and wardrobes) the end result is a vibrant and functional home that suits family life as well as an attractive holiday rental that captures uninterrupted views of Warrnambool’s Lady Bay.
