This renovation, subdivision and property styling project, saw us transform a small, rundown, three bedroom weatherboard home on an oversized corner block into a modern 21st century version of itself, which we then styled for sale, while subdividing the existing block into two separate residential lots.
The renovation included revamping three small bedrooms and bathroom to provide two generous bedrooms with built in robes that were separated by a larger bathroom, which included an oversized shower, toilet and a sizeable vanity. Walls were also removed and realigned to create an open kitchen, living and dining area, while a single car garage and decking off the living area was also added to the floor plan.
Styling the property for sale meant potential buyers could visualise the size and scale of furniture that would suit the home’s various rooms, which is a key factor to consider when selling homes with a small foot print. The property styling investment had a positive impact with the project selling for a better than expected price on the original valuation and it was on the market for less than half the average days for houses in Warrnambool.
